A: Currently our cake delivery in Malaysia is only limited to Kuala Lumpur and Selangor area.
If you require delivery outside of this area, kindly contact us for availability of special arrangement delivery. We do outstation delivery for custom designer cake and bulk order for event.
Q: What time will you deliver to me and can I specify an exact delivery time?
A: Upon checkout you will have the option to select your preferred delivery time slot from 11 a.m - 7p.m for delivery in KL & Selangor. The stated delivery time is subject to 1 hour earlier/delay depending on traffic condition, weather and peak hours (ie: festive season).
We are NOT able to do specific time delivery. If you require specific time, you can arrange for own pick up or contact us for special delivery arrangement.
There will be delivery charge for special delivery arrangement. Kindly note that we are close every Monday.
Q: Can I self-pick up instead of deliver to me?
A: Yes, you may self- pick up from our store located at 49G, Jalan PJS 1/50, Petaling Utama Avenue, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
Our operation hours are from 9.30 a.m - 7.00 p.m (Tuesday - Sunday, Closed on Monday).
The earliest pick up time is from 10.00 a.m and last pick up is at 7.00 p.m.
No deliveries / pickup will be available on Monday and selected Public Holidays.
There will be no delivery fees Self-pickup. If you wish to opt for self collection of your order instead of requiring a delivery service, you may choose pickup upon check out.
Q: How do you deliver the cake ?
A: All delivery services are fulfilled by third party delivery partner "GoGet" and we use only use car for all our cake delivery. We may use alternative delivery partner such as Grab, Lalamove if no driver is available on Goget.
This delivery partner does not represent our company Foret Blanc.
We may use motorbike delivery for small item (example : gift box, non-fragile item).
Q: How do I track my order or check if my order has been deliver?
A: You can check with us via Whatsapp at 0126891470 or we will notify you via email.
We can send you a tracking link with the driver information on delivery day itself via email. If you do not receive it, kindly contact us via Whatsapp us at 0126891470 to check on delivery status.
Q: Do you do same day delivery and how many day of advance order required for a delivery?
A: Yes same day delivery is available for selected item and it has to be order before our daily cut-off time at 3 p.m. Kindly refer item description for notice day required for different item.
Q: Is there any charges for delivery?
A: Yes, delivery charge is based on distance from our store located at PJS 1. Delivery fee will be calculated at check out.
Additional Delivery Fees will be charged upon checkout once you have selected your preferred delivery method. Free delivery is available for up to 15Km distance from our shop location.
Deliveries to multiple venues or on different dates, or at different times, even under the same customer bill, will be charged as separate deliveries under separate orders. You will be required to place the orders separately on our website.
Q: Why do you charge for delivery?
A: Our cake is mostly comes with delicate design. Our delivery service is strictly only using car and by professional with experience in cake delivery to ensure a safe cake delivery. When you pay for delivery, we guaranteed you a 100% safe cake delivery to your venue.
For custom designer cake and large cake, we only use trained delivery partner and our own baker to deliver the cake to the venue. These require careful handling and there will additional delivery charge.
Q: What information do I need to provide for delivery?
A: We require clear information for delivery details:
1) Full address (House/ Unit Number, Building Name, Street name,Postcode).
2) For delivery to restaurant/ event venue, please provide information on table reservation name.
3) For cake delivery as a gift to recipient, kindly provide recipient contact number, name and full address. Kindly note that our customer service will contact recipient for confirmation on delivery time before delivery.
4) We reserve the rights to charge additional for delivery if re-attempt is required for delivery if nobody is available to receive the cake during delivery.
Q: Do you deliver to doorstep?
A: Drivers will only pass the cake to the recipient at the drop-off point/lobby/ground floor of the building where the area is accessible by car with no parking required as the delivery charge does not cover the parking fee.
Our delivery partner do not deliver to the unit number of high-rise buildings and multi-storied buildings such as apartments, condominiums, malls, hotels etc.
Should you require delivery inside the building, kindly contact us for special delivery arrangement. Any special delivery arrangement is subject to delivery charges.
For custom designer cake and large cake that require delivery to the event venue, we will charge for delivery for handling and set up to ensure the cake arrived safely to the venue.
Q : How should I keep the cake once I received it?
A : We will advise to keep the cake in fridge once you received it. If your fridge do not have the space to keep the cake, please keep the cake in COLD air conditioned environment.
Some cakes are strictly need to be kept chilled in fridge once receive (example: mousse cake, cheesecake).
All cakes need to be kept in fridge for overnight storage. This is to ensure freshness.
PLEASE do not leave the cake in room temperature, under heat, direct sunlight or in the car with no air conditioned. The cake will melt if leave in warm environment.
If you require the cake to be displayed for event/party, please turn on the air condition to cool down the venue before the cake arrive.
For outdoor celebration, we will advise to opt for dummy/fake cake or fondant based cake for longer lasting. Kindly consult us for the suitable cake option if you are planning for an outdoor celebration.
Q : If I choose to self-pick up the cake, how should I handle it?
A : If you are planning to self-pick up the cake yourself or arrange your own runner, please ensure to only use car. Kindly ensure the car air condition is cold.
Cake need to be placed on 180 degree flat surface (example : car sit bottom) or someone to hold it. Please do not place cake on car sit with slanted surface.
Our staff is available to assist you on placing the cake in your car when you receive it.
We are not responsible for damage cause by yourself/ or your own arranged runner for any mishandling of the cake after it leave our premise.
Q : Can I change my delivery/pick up date and time?
A : We do not allow change in date and time whether is to postpone or to bring forward the selected date and time once order is confirmed.
You are required to check the delivery date and time slot carefully when placing order before checkout. We will secure a driver for your order once we have confirmed your order. You are required to notify us in writing for any changes in delivery/pick up date and time with 24 hours notice.
For pre order customise item that require preparation in advance, you are required to notify us in writing for any changes in delivery/pick up date and time with minimum 3 days notice.
We reserve the right to not allow change in date and time whether is to postpone or bring forward the selected date and time if changes are inform to us lesser than the notice time. Any change in delivery date and time are subject to additional charge if require to arrange a new driver for delivery or if we need to prepare a new item for pre order item that cannot be keep for a later date.
All orders will be prepared and ready for pick up the products from our kitchen30 minutes prior to your preferred time slot to avoid any delays. Whilst every effort will be made to deliver goods promptly and according to agreed delivery dates, we cannot be held responsible for unforeseen or unreasonable circumstances leading to any delay in delivery or installation. This includes delays in delivery by our suppliers, transport delays; Government regulations; acts of God; non-payment, or any other cause beyond our control, are subject to traffic conditions, weather, and any unforeseen circumstances. No refunds or compensation will be made for any delay of deliveries.
Orders that were unsuccessfully delivered due to no response by the recipient during the allocated time will be forfeited and no refund will be provided. Please make sure the recipient address and contact number are correct to ensure the smooth delivery.
A second attempt for delivery will be made only upon request and additional delivery fees will be charged separately. The fee will be based on the return trip from our location to the recipient address.
Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Adverse Weather Conditions In the event of adverse weather conditions (including heavy rain and flood), our delivery partners may not be able to deliver orders on time. This is outside of our control and we cannot accept responsibility for the late delivery of the order. Therefore, in the event of adverse weather conditions, we aren't able to refund or offer re-delivery of affected orders.
Force Majeure Foret Blanc Patisserie shall not be liable for delay in performing or for failure to perform its obligations if the delay or failure results from any of the following: (i) Acts of God, (ii) outbreak of hostilities, riot, civil disturbance, acts of terrorism, (iii) the act of any government or authority (including refusal or revocation of any licence or consent), (iv) fire, explosion, flood, fog or adverse weather, (v) power failure, failure of telecommunications lines, failure or breakdown of plant, machinery or vehicles, (vi) default of suppliers, sub-contractors or delivery partners, (vii) theft, malicious damage, strike, lock-out or industrial action of any kind, and (viii) any cause or circumstance whatsoever beyond Foret Blanc Patisserie’s reasonable control.
